How a build comes together
This is the kind of work that rolls across the floor at Iron Mike's — a clean Softail platform taken all the way to a candy-flake custom. It starts the same way every build does: you talk to Mike, you bring references, and he sketches what's actually buildable for your bike and your budget. No middleman, no guesswork.
Sheet metal gets molded and smoothed in-house until it's ready to shoot. Then the multi-stage candy goes down — base, candy, flake, clear — clear-coated and cut back by hand. The motor gets dressed in chrome and topped with an S&S Super E, then dialed in on the dyno. No stage gets farmed out.
"We care about one thing — your motorcycle's optimal performance."
— Iron Mike's
Before it leaves the bay it gets a final Dynojet pull, so the fuel curve is documented and dialed — not left for you to sort out on the road. Every custom leaves with the same standard behind it: one shop, complete result, built on Hwy 146.
